MOBILE, AL (May 19, 2025) — Dean Waite & Associates, LLC is partnering with LifeSouth Community Blood Centers and Chick-fil-A to host a community blood drive on Friday, May 23, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at 4707 Airport Blvd. in Mobile. The event—part of the “Squeeze the Day” campaign—offers donors an opportunity to make a life-saving impact and enjoy some well-earned perks for stepping up.

Blood donors will receive three Chick-fil-A coupons, a limited-edition “Give Blood” t-shirt (while supplies last), and a $25 e-gift card through LifeSouth’s donor rewards program. All donors will also be entered to win a Blackstone tabletop griddle with hood, plus other exciting prizes.

“This is a chance to do something simple that could save someone’s life,” Attorney Dean Waite said. “We’re proud to support LifeSouth’s mission and help bring our community together around something so meaningful.”

As a nonprofit community blood center, LifeSouth is the exclusive supplier of blood to many hospitals throughout Alabama and the Southeast. Their mission is to ensure a safe and consistent blood supply for patients in need—including children undergoing surgery, trauma victims, cancer patients, and those with chronic illnesses.

With blood supply levels across the region often stretched thin during warmer months, Dean Waite & Associates encourages all eligible donors to take part. Whether you're giving for the first time or returning to donate again, every pint collected can help save up to three lives.

“Donating blood is one of the most direct and impactful things you can do for someone else,” Waite added. “We hope this event makes it easy—and rewarding—for people to step up and make a difference.”
